Flesh-worms are small creatures, thought to be malformed Ripper larvae. When fired from a devourer, after hitting a solid object they will begin to actively bite and grind their way through the substance, releasing potent digestive enzymes while doing so.
Typically the they reside within the conical lump of flesh located on a Devourer, a phermone then signals them to travel towards the ventalation tubes where a bio-electrical jolt is utilized to hurtle them out the muzzle.
