'''Colonel 'Iron Hand' Straken''' is the [[Colonel]] of a the [[Catachan Jungle Fighters|Catachan II]] [[regiment]].<sup>1</sup> His main feature is his unique [[Bionics]], which now replace the large areas of his body devoured by a [[Miral]] Land Shark, which he moments later killed. Straken started out as a common trooper and working his way up through the ranks until he took the place of his mentor and predecessor, the illustruous Colonel [[Greiss]].<sup>2</sup>. Colonel Straken is unlike many commanders in the imperial gaurd, he does not send his men into a pointless meatgrinder for a shiny new medal he cares for his men.
He's armed with a [[Plasma Pistol]] and [[Shotgun]], and is known to be a skilled leader of his [[Catachan Devils Squad|Catachan Devils]].
