==Background==
The '''Violators''' are a Chaos [[Renegade Chapters|Renegade Chapter]] dedicated to [[Slaanesh]]. Their armour is blue and is often stained with juices of their mutated bodies than runs from the joints.<sup>3: p.265</sup>. Their chapter symbol is a lightning bolt crossed with a dagger. They are known to use electrical pulses to stimulate certain parts of the brain to increase pleasure.
A Violators' mutated body is a temple to Slaanesh, who looks favourably on the Chapter and often alters their bodies so their sensations and pleasures are more immediate. Many Violators have never removed a single part of their armour, for showing their true body would be sacrilege. Though some may reveal themselves in the presence of those who truly represent the ideals of Slaanesh or to a great enemy before the kill.<sup>3: p.250</sup>

*[[13th Black Crusade]].<sup>2</sup> - Most of their actions during it was in the [[Cadian Sector]]. During this war they repeatedly took recruits from the worst Imperial prisons.
*[[Torvendis]]. - Four hundred Violators <sup>3: p.248</sup> A sizable contigent of Violators fought were stationed permanently on Torvendis under the banner of Lady Charybdia in the defense of Charybdia Keep. They were fought, led by Commander Demetrius, who was entombed in a dreadnought, in the defense of Charybdia Keep. Most, if not all, of the Violators on the planet were killed during the battle by either the Khornate daemon [[Ss'll Sh'Karr]] and his minions or the barbarian horde of Golgoth.<sup>3</sup>
