Changes

Eliphas has been confirmed to return returned in the expansion of Dawn of War 2 sequel "Chaos Rising".It is confirmed that during the Dark Crusade, Eliphas' entire host of [[Word Bearers]] was annihilated by the Blood Ravens led by[[Davian Thule]] during the battle of the Deimos Penninsula. He fights as The wounded Eliphas was subsequently, according to Thule, "Torn to ribbons" by his daemonic master [[Lorgar]] for his failure, though Cyrus argues that this was part of a champion deception by Eliphas to escape. Though Eliphas' body was destroyed, his soul survived in the warp being heatedly contested for by daemons. It was then Eliphas encountered the voice of the [[Great Unclean One]], Ulkair who made a bargain with Eliphas. If the former promised to free him from his prison on Aurelia (after being bounded their by Kyras a thousand years ago), then Ulkair would restore his body and promise him vengeance over the [[Blood Ravens]]. The bargain was made and Eliphas joined the [[Black Legion]] and was placed under the leadership of [[Araghast the Pillager]]. The two were led to Aurelia due to the traitorous forces within the Blood Ravens chapter. Eliphas led a raiding party from Aurelia onto the Planet [[Meridian]] in order to assist the Vandis heretics, striking deep into Angel Gate but was forced out by the Blood Ravens strikeforce. Despite the counter-attack by a combined Blood Ravens and Imperial Guard force, The Black Legion began the ritual to free Ulkair from his prison in the centre of the planet Aurelia, splitting the planet asunder. Eventually, fustrated at Araghast, Eliphas took the oppurtunity of overthrowing him during his fight against the Blood Ravens in and soon with the aid of the traitor (see [[Chaos Rising]]) Eliphas completed the ritual and set Ulkair free though the daemon was still bound the old chapter keep as it needed the sacrifice of more Blood Ravens. Eliphas lured the loyalist Blood Ravens to Aureliafor one final battle but was critically wounded by the Commander's squads and fled much to Ulkair's displeasure. The final scene of the game shows Eliphas being tortured by [[Abbadon]] promising to destroy the Blood Ravens. His evenutual fate is unknown.
