The Marines Exemplar dedicated all but one reserve company Chapter Master Maxim Absolon originally deployed the Chapter according to the efforts against the 13th Logan Grimnar ([[Black CrusadeSpace Wolves]] of Chaos) deployment plan, resulting in the Chapter being scattered across several warzones. The However after the Chapter Master Absolon Masters Thunderhawk was killed during shot down (though the chapterremains hopeful that Absolon may still be alive) Captain Raoul took command and now deploys the Chapter according to his own advisors and not Logan Grimnar's initial involvement in the conflictbattle plans. <sup>5</sup>
Their power armour is black with red arms and shoulderpads (including trim), their chapter badge is a black skull with spikes radiating from the top.
