Dusk is native to a number of unique forms of flora and fauna, most deadly, some not. Here is a short list of those found on Dusk: Glo-Slugs of Dusk - The glo-slugs can be found in the swamps that cover the world of Dusk. In the water they are quite unremarkable, looking like a giant brown or black slug. Like much of Dusk's native fauna, the slugs are carnivorous and spend their lives searching for dead creatures to slime over and digest. When removed from the water the slug's skin immediately gives off a phosphorous white glow.*^{[[Inquisitor's Handbook]]} Dusk Stalker: "A terrifying creature that has become the stuff of dark fable across the Calixis Sector, the stalker is one of Dusk's many dangers, haunting the deepest swamps of that world. In appearance, it resembles a frightening hybrid of a withered elderly human and gigantic four-limbed spider." It imitiates human voices and sounds to lure its prey in before springing on its happless prey. Obscuro Majoris.*^{[[Dark Heresy Rulebook]]} Nightwing: "A nocturnal creature, strange and disturbing to look upon, its amber, slug-like body is the length of a man's arm and nearly featureless but for a small round mouth surrounded by hook-like barbs at one end." A blood-sucker it holds onto it victim until it drains them dry. Xenos Minima.*^{[[Dark Heresy Rulebook]]} Ration Grubs: Discovered by an Adeptus Mechanicus Genetor explorator team, ration grubs are one of the few non-deadly creatures of Dusk. Not an overly uncommon sight amoung Imperial emergency rations, a single freeze-dried grub, which is about the size of a man's thumb, provides enough nutrients sufficient for a full day, however the grub's foul taste and slight toxisity make it a poor choice for a long term diet.*^{[[Inquisitor's Handbook]]}
