The priests, called the '''Black Priest of MaccubeusMaccabeus''' ,are all subject to a powerful mind altering ritual that makes them highly resistant to possesion, called the [[Encarta Maleficarum]]. It does however shorten their life span and drives them closer to insanity. ¹
