Finally, the [[Sanguinary Guard]] are a separate formation of the Chapter's [[Veteran Squad|Veterans]], tracing their origins to Sanguinus' personal bodyguard, and is composed of the uttermost elite of the Blood Angels.<sup>4f</sup>
