===The Horus Heresy===

The only major event the Iron Hands Legion participated in the [[Horus Heresy]] was the death of their Primarch and his entire retinue in Isstvan V betrayal. Rumors persist that [[Ferrus Manus]]'s corpse was taken to [[Mars]]; the Iron Hands deny any such claims. The Iron Hands bear a slight grudge against all the participants of the Heresy: the traitors, for being weak enough to become corrupted, and the other loyalists, for not being strong enough to protect the [[Emperor]].
