He and the majority of the veteran First Company sold their lives dearly on the jungle death world of [[Miral]], after escaping the destruction of their homeworld of [[Sotha]] by [[Hive Fleet Kraken]]. Only a company size force of Scythes survivors managed to break out from the Tyranid assault on [[Miral]].
