The '''Royal Volpone''', also known as the '''Volpone Bluebloods''' were are an elite [[Imperial Guard]] [[regiment]] during active in the [[Sabbat Worlds]] Crusade. The Volpone soldiers are around two meters (6 feet 6 inches) tall and come from the noble families of [[Volpone]], proud to the point of their arrogance.

The 50th Volpone was commanded before the [[Verghast]] war and the defence of Vervunhive by [[General]] [[Noches Sturm]] , and after by the former Major and currently current [[Commander]] [[Gizhaum Danver De Banzi Haight Gilbear]]. Also the Volpone Bluebloods had some form of discomfort with , there was once resentment between the [[Tanith First and Only]]and the Bluebloods, however, during the war for Vervunhive the commanders of the two regiments put aside their differences and gained a mutual respect for the other's abilities.¹
