According to the [[Dream of Asuryan]], Vaul reforged the final blade for use in battle as both he and Khaine fought one another but following a series of battles - Vaul was finally caught. The Smith God was crippled in the process and Khaine chained him to his own anvil whilst his own sword was used by the War God to slay [[Eldanesh]].<sup>1-p38</sup>
Following the emergence of [[Slaanesh]], the majority of the Eldar deities died and were absorbed by this new [[Chaos]] God with only Khaine and [[Cegorach]] being the only known survivors.<sup>2-p15</sup>
