The Hive Mind is a greatly mysterious object. No one has ever seen it but every people with psyshic ability can feel it. Some Magis of Mars think that the Hive Mind might just be a psychic network that links the Tyranid raceand permits them to know where and what are doing all the other Tyrannids. Others think that it is in fact an incredibly powerful psychic monsterusing Tyrannids as puppets, while others think that it might be one of the [[Old Ones]]. All that anyone knows is that it is what the Tyranids fight to feedand that it obscures the [[Astronomican]]'s light.
