'''Hive Fleet Kraken''' was responsible for the Second Tyrranic War. It had been two hundred and fifty years since the last Tyrranic War against the vast force of [[Hive Fleet Behemoth]]. The great slaughter devourer of the planets culminating in the defence of [[Macragge]] were far in the past and people had moved on. The first company of the [[Ultramarines]] had recovered sufficiently for field deployment and many members of the [[Administratum]] were questioning the necessity of maintaining such large forces in the south-east corner of the galaxy to resist a non-existant threat. This threat however, was far from non-existant.
The members of the Adinistratum who were questioning the massive deployment of forces believed that Hive Fleet Behemoth was the sum total of the [[Tyranid]] race and had been destroyed at Macragge. The first sign that this was not true was when several planets began suffering spontaneous terrorism, riots and sabotage along with some extreme circumstances of total revolution and rebellion. The same Adepts claimed they were expressing their displeasure at the extensive military deployment and constant curfews and terror in the only way they could.
