'''Blood Talons''' are a [[Dreadnought]] weapon in the armory of the [[Blood Angels]] and successor chapters. Unlike most [[Dreadnought Close Combat Weapons]], a blood talon more closely resembles a [[Lightning Claw|lightning claw]] in appearance and operation. This weapon has four powered blades that pincer down on a target or slash through an enemy with ease; and with the strength of a Dreadnought behind it, a blood talon can sweep through half of an enemy squad with a single stroke. They are used exclusively in pairs, and can be relatively easily acquired for use within a chapter that utilizes them.
Blood Talons can be equipped onto a [[Furioso Dreadnought]] or a [[Death Company Dreadnought]]. While a [[Librarian]] Dreadnought could conceivably be equipped with these, they often eschew them in favor of a combination of a [[Blood Fist]] and a [[Force Weapon]].<sup>1</sup>
