Vitrian Dragoons are the regiments of Imperial Guard from Vitria. They were famous during the Sabbat Worlds Campaign. They are covered by Crystal pattern armour to protect them. Also, they are very disciplined troops because everybody knows the Vitrian Honour Code, the Byhata. Gaunt describes them as being more rigid and less used to combat than the ghostsGhosts.
IG Regiment Overview
Appearance and Weapons
The Vitrians are famous for their Crystal Armours, made of an electric material which reflects light and thus conceals them from their enemies on a well-lit battlefield. They do not use many weapons other than their las-rifles, which they prefer to use set on maximun power setting, but when they do it is usually a variety of plasma weapons such as plasma guns and plasma pistols. The Vitrians are a dark skinned people.

They were well-drilled, slim but powerful men in some kind of chain-armour that was strangely sheened and which caught the light like unpolished metal.1
