Changes

One of hundreds of breeds of fungus which thrive in the dank and dark conditions of the Underhive, '''Gas Fungus''' is nothing like the harmless varieties eaten by [[Scavvies]] and [[Mutants]] or distilled into drugs and medicines.¹

Gas Fungus protects itself from meddling Underhivers by releasing a cloud of mycotoxins into the air which are then inhaled by whoever may be unfortunate enough to have stumbled into the patch. There are hundreds of further breeds within the genus of Gas Fungus itself, the most dangerous of which is affectionately known as the '''Dream-Spore'''. Resembling a multi-coloured ball of fluff, when disturbed it releases a cloud of hallucinogenic spores which quickly induce waking dreams and living nightmares in the victim. They will soon meet their end not at the spores, but at one of the Underhive's many other dangers due to their disoriented condition. Victims have been found hanging from the webs of [[Giant Spiders]], drowned face-down in sludge pools, or as unrecogniseable red stains at the bottom of high falls.¹
