A '''Mono Sight''' is a sophisticated targeting sensor which is worn over one eye and attached to the user's weapon by a power link. The sight provides an enhanced image of the target, while an overlaid targeting reticule allows the shooter to see exactly where their shot will land. The extremely high resoluton means that the slightest movement will disrupt the taget lock so that the individual using a Mono Sight must remain stationary to gain any benefit. Because of this it is most commonly attached to Heavy Weapons, though it is not unknown for it to be used on smaller firearms.<sup>1</sup>
