Not to be confused with the four-barreled [[Rapier]] pattern laser weapon also referred to as a destroyer, the single-barreled Laser Destroyer is typically mounted on a specialised armour platform itself also referred to as a Destroyer, or more properly, a [[Destroyer Tank Hunter]].<sup>1</sup> Laser destroyerDestroyers are ancient technology by [[human]] standards, and as a result, they cannot be replicated easily. This means that they (and so Destroyer Tank Hunters) are quite rare.
