'''Thaszar''' also known as '''Thaszar the Invincible'''is the [[Necron Overlord]] of the [[Sarnekh Dynasty]]. Ruling from the [[Tomb World]] of [[Zapennec]], Thaszar styles himself as a pirate king. Originally however, Thaszar was an outcast in the dynasty but awakened from his exile on the world of Athonos before his bretheren. In late [[M41]], Thaszar managed to return to Zapennec and reprogram the slumbering Nerons of the Sarnekh Dynasty that he was its rightful [[Phaeron]]. So it came to be that Thaszar has ruled the Sarnekh Dynasty ever since and those who had banished him became his servants.¹
