They have discipline above that of the average Ork and are more efficient too, commonly viewed as being nutcases amongst regular Orks since they go into battle with fuel-filled rockets strapped to their backs. Despite this Stormboyz are still Orks and love nothing more than joining battle quickly, part of the reason they strap rockets to their backs.¹

Stormboyz fight in mobs just like other Orks. A Stormboy Mob ranges from 5 to 20 Stormboyz which sometimes has an Ork [[Nob]] amongst their numbers, leading them.¹

An example of a famous, or rather in this case, infamous Stormboy is [[Warboss]] [[Zagstruk]], the ruthless leader of a band of Stormboyz known as [[Vulcha Squad]]. His reputation for being a merciless killer and a fanatical disciplinarian is the very manifestation of the Stormboyz doctrine. ¹

Most Stormboyz are usually [[Ork Boyz|younger Orks]] who for various, inexplicable reasons, have grown tired of the normaly anarchic lifestyle among the regular Ork boyz. Longing for discipline and a place in orkoid society, these youths often run off to join a Stormboyz camp. This is particularly typical of the youths of the [[Goffs]] and [[Blood Axe]] [[Ork Clans|clans]]. ¹

While at these camps the young Orks are drilled in marching and hurtling through the air, a regimental lifestyle that these Orks can become easily addicted to. It may be due to their chosen lifestyle that Ork Stormboyz have an actual respect for authority rare in [[Ork Culture|Ork Kultur]].¹

Unlike most Orks, Stormboyz see a point in planning and forethought and take it very seriously. Such information as strength and location of the foe are used by the Stormboyz to determine how best to orchestrate their attack.¹

Stormboyz don [[Rokkit Packs]] on the battlefield, which produce great tongues of oily black flame as they are propelled into the air. These are the volatile inventions of a relatively small group of [[Mekboyz]] who just love to see them malfunction, finding the sight of a Stormboy corkscrewing into the ground as funny as the next Ork. Despite this, Stormboyz hope for the best while launching, with an accopanying accompanying shout of ‘Ere we go!’.*¹

Asides from this Stormboyz are equipped with [[Slugga|Sluggas]], [[Choppas]] and [[Stikkbombz]]. Yet again, unlike other Orks whose wargear has been individualised, Stomboyz prefer uniform colours on theirs.¹
