Scans show it's no larger than a Frigate-Class Imperial craft, and holopicts show that it carries no obvious external armaments, however the psykers of the [[Ordo Xenos]] have found that it has far less psychic communication with the hive ship than other creatures of the hive fleet, instead it's psychic activity is focused on the targeted planet's surface. It launches smaller than usual [[Mycetic Spore]]s, which seem to carry previously slain tyranid commanders.^1pg49
