Sandy Mitchell is a pseudonym for Alex /Stewart, has been a full-time writer since the mid nineteen eighties -1980's and was first published by the Black Library in 2003. He has also written fiction for [[Warhammer Fantasy ]] and background material for the Warhammer roleplaying game. He is known to practice , including ''[[Scourge the martial arts of Aikido and Iaido as hobbies¹. He has also contributed some Warhammer roleplaying game material Heretic (including Novel)|Scourge the Heretic]]'', the first tie-in book to the [[Dark Heresy ]] roleplaying game[1]) as well as a number of short stories and magazine articles.
