Necron Warriors are the basic troops choice for the NecronNecronss. They come in large numbers, ; a squad is made up of between 10 5 and 20 Necron Warriors armed with Gauss Flayers. They may also be upgraded with Disruption Fields. They overwhelm enemies with firepower and numbers before retreating back to their Tomb complexes, awaiting the next call to battle.
They were made from the majority of the Necrontyr people, whose souls were transferred into metallic bodies and then bound to the will of the C'tan. They take on a skeletal form and are a spine-chilling sight in battle, as shells and las-bursts bounce off their hardened exoskeletons.
They are armed with Necron Warriors make the core of the "basic" Necron weapon army, though made from the weapons in common people of the Necron armoury can hardly be described Necrontyr, such as basicfarmers and artisans. Their movements are slow and sometimes jerky, their bodies old and torn, synapse misfires sometimes causing them to stumble. The technology they wield is known as They lack the ability of speech; it being delierately stripped from them at the time of Gauss FlayerBiotransference and is easily strong enough to flay (Although when heavily injured, they will emit a high modulated scream, most likely a lingering effect from the skin tranfer from most enemiesflesh to machine). It even They lack a personality of their own, they have no self; rumour has it this too, was part of their design, to ensure the nobility that their vassals would remain loyal in the many battles to come (They are not entirely fearless however, having some survival instinct). Because of this they are tactically hopeless on their own without a chance of destroying enemy vehiclescommander or higher Necron to lead them, automatically entering defensive protocols if no other order is given sufficient luck, not moving from the spot but repelling any enemy by accurate salvos of Gauss Flayers.1 ==Quotes== *"Wit is not required in my vassals; they need only the ability to fight and die in the furtherance of my boundless glory.
