In the original ''Rogue Trader'' rulebook, the Space Wolves Fortress-Monastery was given a detailed description, and presented as a typical fortress of the Space Marines. At the time, their Fortress-Monastery was based on a world called Lucan; however in later the first edition background of Warhammer 40,000 it was changed to [[Fenris]].
