This page needs some work from someone who has expertise w the Eldar. I fixed some minor problems w grammar...
A War Walker is an an Eldar bipedal vehicle fitted with heavy weapons, such as Brightlances, Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannons, Starcannons & Missile Launchers.1,2
They are designed primarily as heavy weapon mounts but also as scouts. Their lighter armor gives them considerable maneuverability, though at the expense of the protection: even Heavy Bolter-type weapons are capable of eliminating War Walkers. Hopefully, the pilot is protected by an advanced force field which also blurs the outline of the walker. Without more sophisticated equipment, it is hard to spot War Walkers, leading in to the tendency for enemy squads to be destroyed before they realize what happened.1,2
Often War Walker pilots experience a oneness with their walker, this oneness is aided by the presence of a Spirit Stone. Their conjoined "minds" lead to an a much more effective zone of concentration. More often than not, the twin weapons on a War Walker are enough to destroy vehicles or, in sufficient numbers, entire squads and platoons of normal infantry.1
