The '''Falcon''' Grav Tank is a versatile vehicle used by the [[Eldar]] both as a transport and as a heavy weapons mount. In Eldar mythology, during the War in Heaven Falcon, Consort of the Great Hawk, retrieved the sword [[Anaris]] from their god [[Vaul]], thereby enabling [[Eldanesh]] to continue his combat with [[Khaine]]. The principle of delivering the sword is what is represented in the Falcon Grav Tank, delivering troops to the front and retrieving them again if the combat becomes too fierce.
The vehicle, as the name suggests, is a grav-vehicle and subsequently has no form of ground based propulsion, rather relying on its sophisticated anti-gravity technology that allows it a form of limited flight.Many Falcon pilots specialize in flying hidden within the clouds, only to propel it several meters above dive from the groundskies and strike at unsuspecting foes.<sup>1</sup>
It can, like the [[Wave Serpent]], transport Eldar units however not as many may be carried due to the increased demands due to the heavy weapon mounts including [[Shuriken Cannons]], [[Bright Lances]], [[Missile Launchers]], [[Scatter Lasers]], [[Starcannons]], [[twin-linked]] [[Shuriken Catapults]] and [[Pulse Lasers]].
