The Defiant class Class Light Cruiser is another varient of the [[Endeavor Class Light Cruiser|Endeavor]] with the , in this case its [[weapons batteries]] being replaced in this case, by flight decks. The Defiant is used as an escort for larger ships, and or as a attack convoy strike craft carrier for a convoy. The Defiant is a capible carrier, but too vunerable to opperate without support, as it has no significant defensive firepowercapabilities. It is often seen alongside its sister classesvarients, the [[Endeavor Class Light Cruiser|Endeavor]] and [[Endurance Class Light Cruiser|Endurance]] classes.

The Defiant has its two flight decks, and two short range lances upon its prow. Its lack of firepower often deligates delegates it to opperating behind main lines, providing as support to larger ships, rather than in its intended role as an escort.

Two famous notable ships of the Defiant class exist, but both were lost as they gained their while gaining fame. They are the [[Forebearer]] and [[Archangel]].
