It took part in the ambush of [[Imperial Guard]] forces arriving in the [[Perlia]]n system to relieve the embattled forces on that planet<sup>1a</sup>.
According to [[Inquisitor]] [[Amberley Vail]], the vessel's name was a pastiche of [[High Gothic|Gothic]] loan words, roughly translating as "battle-ready."<sup>1a</sup>
