'''Lobbas''' are [[Ork]] artillery pieces, or [[Big Gun]]z manned by a pair of [[Gretchin]]. They lob their payload in high arcs, much like [[mortars]], in order to fire over intervening obstacles. Most often Lobbas physically work in a similar way to mortars, however rockets and even medieval trebuchet style devices have been reported.¹ The crew have a tendency to fake a dud loaded in the artillery piece however, and the joke of firing the weapon while a Gretchin is in the process of retrieving the shot often costs said Gretchin his life, or at least an arm, in the process.²
