Balefire Guns are flamers that uses highly refined promethium fuel mixed with a number of radioactive compounds to both burn and irradiate foes. They are effective against Orks and other xenos with natural regeneration and are only rarely deployed due to the collateral environmental damage it causes. They are used solely by the Deathwatch to cleanse particularly resilient xenos and effective in controlling and eradicating Ork infestations.
