The '''Tau Empire''' refers to the area of [[Tau]] controlled space along the [[Eastern Fringe]]. Apart from the Tau themselves, this area is home to a number of Tau allies such as the [[Kroot]], [[Vespid]], [[Demiurg]], [[Nicassar]] and the [[Gue'vesa]], who have settled on Tau controlled worlds.
The Tau Empire is a large empire which spans a large area in the eastern part of the galaxy. It is by far the most superior army, a balance of population, ideology, and technology, and represents the most likely advance in the galaxy.
