It was sun never penetrating its inky atmosphere, and the homeworld to air choked with the [[Mortifactors]] [[Space Marine]] [[Chapter]] stink of blood and was inhabited by fierce nomadic tribes that were known smoke. The wars of Posul have resulted in a population supremely suited to practice cannibalism.become Space Marines

It was the homeworld to the [[Mortifactors]] [[Space Marine]] [[Chapter]] and was inhabited by fierce nomadic tribes that were known to practice cannibalism.{{Fn|3}} These tribes were in constant combat with each other. They were known to eat the flesh of their slain enemies and ritually gain their strength from this barbaric practice. The strongest of the warriors were recruited into the Mortifactors by the [[Chaplain]]s of the chapter.{{fact}} The Priest class were recruited to be Mortifactors Chaplains. The darkness of '''Posul''' made the Mortifactors excellent at fighting in low-light conditions.{{Fn|3}}
