Consisting of twenty huge stone plinths each with a gargantuan statue, they represent each of the twenty original [[Primarch]]s. These great pillars are hallowed from the inside, Within each hang the banners of all [[Space Marine]] chapters that have been destroyed in the service of the [[Emperor]] in the ten thousand years since the Heresy.
