In 863.[[M41]] they were responsible for the Saint Cyllia Massacre, where after having fallen to Chaos they turned their guns on the loyalist regiments of the worlds [[Planetary Defense Forces]] before making their escape.<sup>1</sup>
In 876.[[M41]], the Legion is almost entirely destroyed by the [[Cadian Shock Troopers|Cadian 423rd]] under [[Knight]] Commander [[Pask]] in the largest armored battle fought by the Imperium since the [[Tallarn|Battle of Tallarn]]. In the vicious battle, the Imperium would lose nearly 8,000 tanks and 35 [[Super Heavy Tank]]s.{{Fn|2}}
