A chidhood friend of the uniquely-ranked [[Colonel-Commissar]] [[Ibram Gaunt]], Blenner found the later stages of his career reuniting him with Gaunt, when a number of incidences during their shared service in the [[Sabbat Worlds Crusade]] would result in Blenner transferring from the Greygorians to the Tanith.
