They are mounted on wheels and crewed by [[Gretchin]]. They fire either a big bore frag round for anti-infantry actions or solid shot shell for anti-tank roles. They are also notoriously inaccurate. They often form into [[Big Gun]] batteries of between one and three Kannons.<sup>1</sup> There is often considered a great joke among Kannon crews to feign a dud shell in the kannon and make one of their fellow members retrieve it. Woe betide the unlucky Grot called in to retrieve such a "dud", as his crew members will invariably procede to fire the gun with him half-inside.
