Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine bikes are essentially the same design, due to their shared origins. The difference is in the armament: while they both use twin-linked Bolters mounted on their bikes, Chaos Space Marine bikers also wield Close Combat Weapons.

Attack Bike
See also Bike Squadron for further details.

A variant of the Bike is the Attack Bike. A sidecar is attached to the side of the Bike and usually carries a crew-operated heavy weapon, significantly increasing the firepower of a combat motorcycle squadron. There is no equivilent of the Attack Bike in the Chaos Space Marine Structure.

Ork Warbikes
See also Warbike Squadron for further details.

Ork Warbikes are ramshackle devices created from as many parts as possible, to make as much noise and go as fast as possible. Maintained by the Mekboyz, they provide Orks with fast moving and attacking units which do not suffer from the low armour their vehicles are famous for. They are also armed with a much greater firepower than other Bikes.

Imperial Guard Bikes
The Imperial Guard are not known for their exclusive use of Bikes, but occasionally Rough Rider Squadrons may be mounted on Bikes rather than the native animals. This confers no benefits or disadvantages to the rider, but is a fairly easy conversion project.
