A '''Company''' is part of the hierarchy of the [[Codex Astartes]]. Each [[chapter]] is broken down into ten companies providing structure to the chapter. Each of these companies should be one hundred men strong, making the one thousand strong chapter.
The first company is made up of the veterans of the army. These include [[Veteran Squad]]s or , [[Terminator SquadSquads]] and [[Assault Terminator Squads]]s. Support for the first company is [[Land Raider]]s and [[Dreadnought]]s.
The second, third, fourth and fifth companies are known as Battle Companies and are split into six [[Tactical Squad]]s, two [[Assault Squad]]s and two [[Devastator Squad]]s. The Assault Squads can be deployed as [[Bike Squadron]]s or [[Land Speeder Squadron]]s and often use [[Rhino]] or [[Razorback]] transports. They may also include Dreadnoughts.
