==Gameplay==
In [[Dawn of War: Soulstorm]], the Penitent Engine is highly effective against Infantry units, owing to its ability to devastate enemies' morale and then mow them down in melee combat. This, coupled with its incredible speed (which is second to only the [[Imperial Guard]] [[Sentinel]]) helps make the Penitent Engine one of the best walker units in the game.<sup>2</sup>
