'''Galatan''', a [[Space Marine]] of the [[Ultramarines]] [[chapter]], took part in the [[Corinthian Crusade]], in 698.[[M41]]. By this time he was Chapter ''[[Ancient]]'', Bearer of the [[Banner of Macragge]]. He briefly dropped the banner when his arm was chopped off by [[Warboss ]] [[Skargor]]. While Warboss Skargor was distracted trying to break the banner with his [[Power ClawKlaw]], Ancient Galatan drove his [[Power Sword]] through the back of Skargor's head, killing him and finally breaking the spirit of the defence. Galatan died of his wound from this encounter.
