== History ==Forrix was once a hero of the Legion and captain of its 1st [[Grand Company]] during the [[Great Crusade]] and the [[Horus Heresy]].{{Fn|2}}{{Fn|3a}} During the [[Battle at the Phall system]], Forrix had primary responsibility for planning the Iron Warriors' void attack on the [[Imperial Fists]]' [[Retribution Fleet]] marooned in the [[Phall system]].{{Fn|3b}}  Forrix later led the retreat of the Iron Warriors during the [[Battle of Terra]]{{Fn|1a}}. By [[M41]], despite his supreme organizational skills, as well as being extremely capable in the art of siege warfare, over the millennia Forrix had grown jaded and apathetic. He was disillusioned with the [[Long War]] (the quest of the [[Chaos Space Marines]] to overthrow the [[Imperium]]), and he tread the path of the heretic simply because he had none other to take.{{Fn|1b}} By [[M41]] his apathy had made him unworthy to succeed the Warsmith. Along with Likewise, his fellow captain Captain [[Kroeger]]'s descent into maddened bloodlust, [[Honsou]] succeeded the Warsmith instead.{{Fn|1c}} During the Hydra Cordatus campaign, Forrix was killed by an [[Adeptus Titanicus]] Imperial [[Warhound Titan]].{{Fn|1d}}
