The '''''Infidus Imperator''''' ([[High Gothic]] for "False Emperor") is was the [[Battle Barge]] of [[Kor Phaeron]], [[First Captain]] of the [[Word Bearers]] [[Chaos Space Marine|Traitor]] [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]]. Originally dubbed the ''Raptorous Rex'', it was re-named prior to the [[Battle of Calth]].{{Fn|1a}}
Following Phaeron's retreat, the ''Infidus Imperator'' fled [[Calth]] with the [[Ultramarines]] flagship ''[[Macragge's Honour]]'' in pursuit, leading to one of the most famous naval duels in [[Imperial]] history.{{Fn|1b}}  By [[M41]], the ''Infidus Imperator'' was still in service to the XVII Legion, and one of their largest and most heavily armoured vessels.{{Fn|2}}
