Gregorious Sebatev was the recently-promoted captain of the 5th Company of the Vostroyan Firstborn Sixty-Eighth regiment, after his friend and mentor, Major Dubrin during the campaign on Danik's World. 1 1a
History
For two years, Sebastev's regiment had been posted in the trench work north-east of the city of Korris, fighting orks where they had expected rebels due to lack of tactical information. 2 1b As the expected rebels did appear, attacking Imperial positions in other parts of the world, the 68th was called away, with Sebastev's company left to fight a desperate rearguard action against the orks. Rather than being annihilated, 5th Company rigged Korris' power plant to blow and retreated, 3 1c reaping a fearsome tally on the pursuing orks who were caught in the explosion. After fighting their way out of Korris, the company follows several days behind the rest of the regiment. As they draw closer to their fellows, they see signs of a battle ahead. 5th Company scouts come across a wounded Vostroyan, who relates in his final moments that the rest of the regiment had been attacked and destroyed by rebels mere hours before! 4 1d Falling on the rebels from behind, 5th Company utterly destroyed them, but for a man who seemed to have valuable information. Sebastev played a major part in this battle, scouting ahead and sabotaging rebel armour and taking the Danikkin prisoner. 5 1e Finding a vox-relay 5th Company are ordered by HQ to bring the Danikkin prisoner to the loyalist's base, Seddisvarr. 6 1f Driving for many miles, the guardsmen come to the city of Grazzen. The city is besieged by tens of thousands of orks. 5th Company, in a desperate attempt Imperial lines before the city's only bridge is blows, charge orks' rear. At first it seems as though all is lost as the beasts encircle the last survivors of the Sixty-Eighth Regiment, however they are saved by Daridh Ahl Karif, the company commissar. 7 1g Karif had entered the city through the sewer, and enlisted the help of a tank platoon. Upon their return to Imperial lines, the survivors of the company, a mere twenty eight men were billeted within the city. Sebastev was arrested for trying to save too many of his men, thereby endangering his mission objectives. The charges were later overturned by the Inquisition 8 1h to whom Sebastev and his company were then seconded to. His eventual fate in unknown however he is believed to remain on Danik's World, conducting missions for the inquisition.
