The '''Mercurian Swamp Orchid''' is a rare plant found in the [[Sol system]], presumably on [[Mercury]]. Through a secret process known only certain departments of the [[Inquisition]], the Orchid's first blooms produce a chemical which can be refined into a toxin that can paralyze [[Space Marines]]. It does so, ironically, through hyper-stimulation of the Marine's organs that are designed to neutralize poisons (either the [[Omnor]] or the [[Oolitic Kidney]], or both).{{Fn|1}}
