Page for Bloodfiends as described in Red Fury
:A Bloodfiend is a failed attempt at cloning by the [[Blood Angels]] which was soon exploited by [[Fabius Bile]]. At first the experiment seemed to be a huge success when it fought the Blood Angel sergeant [[Rafen]] and a [[Flesh Tearers]] captain, Turcio, although it hasn't been trained to resist the [[Red Thirst]] or the [[Black Rage]] so it transformed into a monster come to be known as a Bloodfiend.
:Bloodfiends are feral creatures at their most primitive stage, although they become smarter, stronger, and more lethal with amount or power of the blood they drink. Corpses left by Bloodfiends are completely drained of all blood and vital fluids.
:They're described as being a dark reddish brown with very tough skin that can withstand multiple shots from a [[bolter]]. They have extra joints in their hands, legs, and arms, they have rows upon rows of razor sharp fangs that gulp the blood from its victim. Bloodfiends are a prominent antagonist in the Blood Angels novel, [[Red Fury]] by [[James Swallow]].
