'''Prometheus''' is [[Nocturne]]'s moon and the [[Fortress-monastery]] of the [[Salamanders]]. The monastery is the only construction built there and has a great dock were is the centre of the chapters' [[Strike CruisersSalamanders]] logistics and [[Battle Barge]]s can be restoredadministration. Being an over-sized moon, it causes massive stress on [[Nocturne]]'s tectonic plates, resulting in an event, known as the Time of Trials, which occurs every [[Nocturne]] year (15 [[Terra]]n years). During this time, the tectonic stresses induced by the increased gravitational pull of Prometheus, cause the planet's tectonic platesthousands of active volcanoes to erupt and the seas rise up in vast waves. {{Fn|1}}
An eventAs befits the centre of the Chapters command, which Prometheus is the site of the '''''Pantheon'''''. The Pantheon is known a council comprised of 18 seats, the number of the former [[Legion]], each one dedicated to one of the Chapter's positions of command. Namely these are; one seat for the [[Tu'Shan|Regent of Prometheus]]{{Fn|2a}}, as the Time Chapter Master is named, six seats for the Company Captains, one seat each for the [[Apothecarion]], [[Librarius]], [[Chaplaincy]] and [[Master of the Fleet|Fleet]] and three seats for the [[Armoury]] and the [[Master of the Forge|Masters of the Forge]]. A further three seats are reserved for guests who are invited with the consent of the rest of the council. The final seat is reserved for the most enigmatic position within the Chapter - that of the [[Forgefather]].{{Fn|2b}} As the Chapters focal point, Prometheus is also home to the '''Hall of Relics'''{{Fn|2b}}, a vast area containing a great number of shrines and reliquaries devoted to heroes of Trialsthe Chapter. Another of Vulkan's Relics, an array of space-bound lasers named 'The Eye of Vulkan', orbits Prometheus, protecting it from attack.
