The [[assault drill]] is one of the most formidable close combat weapons that a dreadnought can wield; however, this attachment is unique in the fact that it is a siege weapon and is only operable on [[Assault Dreadnought|Assault]] and [[Siege Dreadnought]]s. The assault drill consists of three drill cogs that easily grind through rock, steel, and ceramite. This drill is used exclusively for use against heavily armoured targets such as pillboxes, bunkers, and even tanks. The assault drill is also unique in the fact that is sports an internal heavy flamer that allows the dreadnought to send a jet of flame into any object pierced by its drill.
