The term '''Blood for the Blood God''' is used primarily by the Legions and servants of the [[Chaos]] God [[Khorne]]. The term is in concurence concurrence with the belief that when an enemy is killed in Khorne's name, the blood that is spilled is added to the lake of blood by which the God (supposedly) sit's sits atop his throne of skulls. There is also the belief that the more blood that is spilt by an individual in their God's name, the more worthy they are in his eyes, and so they may eventually be elevated to daemonhood in the form of the Blood Thirster, the as a mighty [[Daemon ]] avatar of the Blood God himself.
