'''Assault Marines''' are [[Space Marines]] who have dedicated themselves to high speeds, high flying and close combat. Their armour is modified to incorporate a [[Jump Pack]] and often they arm themselves with a [[Chainsword]]s and [[Bolt Pistol]]s. Assault Marines often employ [[Plasma Pistol]]s, [[Flamer]]s and other heavy, close-range firepower to gain an additional edge over their enemies. They form up into [[Assault Squads]] and fly together into combat as a unit of brothers.
